Strategic Inspection Management 2024
Conference 11.-12. September at Clarion Hotel Air, Sola, Norway
This conference is focusing on inspection and inspection management as an important and strategic element in maintaining an acceptable safety level and to secure reliable and economical production.
Inspection and inspection management has been a focus area in the oil & gas industry for decades. In the future sustainability will be a main target and the industry will move into new technology areas focusing on “green technology”.
In this respect, learning from the past and adapt or develop new technologies are important. This conference is focusing on inspection and inspection management as an important and strategic element in maintaining an acceptable safety level and to secure reliable and economical production.

Dette arrangementet er avsluttet.
«Great presentations. Highly competent people and disussions. Great venue, location, sound and food»
This year the conference will focus on
- Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI)
- Risk based inspection (RBI)
- Digitalization and AI
- Drones and robotic inspection
Effective and right inspection requires knowledge about methodology and equipment in addition to implementation of effective working processes. Training and competence in all levels of the organization are the two main elements to secure quality in planning, execution and evaluation of findings from an inspection.
Target audience
This conference is relevant for personnel working with topics related to inspection and maintenance of production- and storage systems, marine, energy and the transport sector.

09.15 InnovateCUI – A Joint Industry Project evaluating CUI Monitoring technologies
The InnovateCUI project is a Joint Industry Project in which 11 international companies are joining forces to further investigate ways to manage CUI. The project focusses on gaining a better understanding of different permanent monitoring technologies, as well as developing a way to evaluate coating performance. This presentation will focus on the sensor technology part, in which 6 different sensor technologies are being tested in a simulated industrial environment. A summary of the project objectives will be given, as well as a short description of existing sensor technologies, how they are being tested, and some preliminary test results.
